Sensoterra was at Agritechnica 2019 – world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology and innovation. The showcase is one of the biggest events in smart farming worldwide and counts on smart agriculture experts to present good reasons to implement LoRaWAN in industrial agriculture. This year the event happened in Hannover (Germany), with the theme “Global farming, local responsibility”.
Speaking in a live conference about LoRa Alliance, Sensoterra was together with other IoT leading companies: Pessl Instruments GmbH, MultiTech, and Semtech.
Christine Fraser-Boer (Sensoterra COO) was at the event talking about LoRa Alliance and IoT innovations
“IoT industry is growing fast. This is a result of forces working together, and in Agritechnica we could experience that.”, said Fraser-Boer. Farming now resembles a global network – feeds and foods, technologies and farm inputs are all the subject of international trade. This global exchange forms the basis for the success of the farms, including their upstream and downstream sectors. Individual regions specialize and concentrate on producing specific products for which international demand exists.
Sensoterra is a leader in smart farming technology, providing wireless, low-cost soil moisture sensors to growers all over the world.
